1. Who We Are
CleanOS (accessible at cleanosapp.com) is a software-as-a-service platform for cleaning companies, operated from the United States. For privacy questions, contact us at app.cleanos@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including: account registration data (name, email, business name); billing information processed securely by our payment processor; operational data you enter into the platform (client names and addresses, cleaner information, job schedules, photos, invoices, and financial records); and communications you send us. We also collect data automatically when you use the Service: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and usage patterns — to maintain and improve the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: provide and operate the Service; process payments and manage your subscription; send transactional notifications (receipts, alerts, account updates); respond to support requests; improve features and fix bugs; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data Sharing
We may share your data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for other purposes. We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of CleanOS and its users. If you choose to connect CleanOS to QuickBooks Online (Intuit), you authorize this integration through Intuit's secure OAuth 2.0 flow. We store the resulting access and refresh tokens securely and use them solely to synchronize your customers, invoices, and payments with your QuickBooks company. We do not access QuickBooks data beyond what is needed for this synchronization, and you can disconnect the integration at any time from your settings, which revokes our access.
5. Photos and Operational Data
Photos uploaded to the Service (including before/after job photos) are stored securely and associated with your account and specific jobs. They are accessible only to authorized users within your organization and to CleanOS staff when necessary for support or technical operations.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we may retain your data for up to 90 days before deletion, to allow for account recovery or data export. Financial records may be retained longer as required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and receive your data in a portable format. 8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service (session management, authentication, preferences). We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Report any suspected vulnerability to app.cleanos@gmail.com.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at app.cleanos@gmail.com.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
